There's interest. Just not that much money. Hate to see you scrap it.

Selling engines is always a hard thing.
I just sold/gave away (under $300) the '68 short block that was completely rebuilt.
I just rather see it back in use then sitting in my garage or worst scraped.

I just bought a '66 complete and well running engine off of ebay for 450.00. Shipping is the hard part. But getting manifolds, a carb, etc., would be difficult and costly. Do what you need to do, but it would be a shame to scrap it.

GW,
You need to take a summer break down here in VA BCH
You can bring the engine to my place

It won't fit in the backseat of the TA. I know these are hard to sell I just have to much stuff and need to clean out I have a new engine for the 31 and 2 spare longblocks I would never build a 230 anyway so now that I don't need this for mockup anymore it's going. I have already scrapped about a dozen 1 bbl engines and junk transmissions since I am never going to do anything with them the only parts I save are cam towers if they are perfect and aluminum belt covers. I don't see that 4 barrel intakes and exhaust manifolds are hard to find if you actually want them the last few I had took years to sell and didn't bring more that 10O bucks. My time is valuable and tearing down engine for parts I don't need just isn't worth it to me I thought that the 67 sprint might be of use to someone but I was wrong

Pulling apart a OHC is not that hard. I did it ii the driveway on a trailer that had to be back in two hours.

If the parts aren't worth it to you please lets have you and I get together. I fly free on Delta and would love to come get my fill of OHC goodies.

Part of the reason why our Pontiac's are dying so fast, outside of the lack of interest, is the availability of cores and parts.

Marc

That's my point for mr 2 hours is 250.00 in time then I have to store loose parts and for what to sell a block core for 100.00 not to mention the time I have to put into shipping its just not worth it i have lots of ads for parts and never have any interest.

PM about your ads and what you have as I have done for you.
