Photos are outstanding. Thanks for sharing. These pics will
keep me motivated on my clone and are great for reference.
Is this car going to a museum, private collector or to be sold ?

Do you know if those are actual miles showing on the odo (3360)?

Seems like these factory racers tend to end up with around 3000 miles on them.

Great progress on the car!

But what the HELL happened to the formatting on this thread??

Black brake and Clutch pedals, not Ensign blue (considering is has the Yorktown blue interior)? Interesting.

typically they all had the same shelf life and race history so it would account for simliar milage all 1/4 mile at a time.

maybe it's just my computer...this thread is about 2 feet wide...even this box to reply with is way to the right.

Anyway, great progress on the project.

Though I read about them, I always wondered how the for-shipping single exhaust system would have looked.

It appears the photos in post #62 were all put in the same line, instead of one below the other. It's too late to edit the post now, I'll send a note to the moderators to see if one of them can straighten it out.

Thank you; just an observation -

This car - 3360

The Royal Swiss Cheese car - 3066 (from a couple years back)

The Stan Long Tempest - 3165 (at the time of the ebay ad)

My car - 4856.2 - but some of those were on the tow-bar, so the odo was rolling even though the engine was not running.
