Is that an oil/transmission cooler mounted on top of the wheel well?

I found an ad for that car online from 2015, so it's been for sale for a while. I noticed it has factory a/c, I wonder how well that works all the way in the back seat.

I have one identical to yours (84), except i put an 85 trunklid with the adjacent vented side panels and the big GT rear spoiler on it.
Was a daily driver until the composite cam gear stripped out.
It's been sitting ever since.

Hurry quick and you can own this plain jane catalina that's been sitting in the elements for a decade for the low low price of only $7500!

https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/...174499097.html

Sadly this thing looks a lot like a low option '67 catalina parts car I paid $600 for (and probably should have worked the seller down even more considering what an undesirable pile it is).

Why would someone post those pics? Spend an a couple of hours and clean it up! It doesn’t look that bad but it has been sitting too long.

Because then it fits in with the whole “barn find” everyone is looking for.
