Just ran up on a 74 ta .It was a 455(non sd)car but has a yt 400 in it now.vin is 2v87y4n#####,
the car will need a new pass. door skin,has a dent in the pass fender,needs a pass quarter lower patch panel.Interior is actually decent with a perfect dash.The owner is asking $1500 and will throw in a rusty 76 grand prix with a 455.Is it worth it?

I was looking at the VIN you posted, and I did not see a (y) code for an engine type. If the car is in good shape go for it, but double check the VIN. Web site... 76transam.com Let me know what you find out.

Was looking in year ones trans am codes and it shows a y as a 455.
