Default '63 Catalina 2-dr coupe MANUAL SHIFT

Really nice driver, 95,000 miles, PHS docs, all original except for correct color re-paint in Marimba Red with newer red fabric bench seat interior. Very straight body, decent brightwork. Not concours, but you can drive with pride.
Drive line appears to be original - strong running 389, 3-speed column shift, 3.23 posi rear. Factory dual exhausts. Tinted windshield, stock AM radio. Front suspension just professionally rebuilt and refinished - all new ball joints and bushings.
I bought this with intentions of doing a SD clone, but am now going in a different direction.
Asking $10,950.

Manual steering and brakes.
Might deliver (if close enough) for the cost of fuel.

I am presently at the marital almost bliss point/limit of 4 cars. My Coronet is for sale, and my daughter with a new grandson lives in Newark DE so time will tell.

SOLD!

Thanks to all who showed an interest.

Money is going to a good cause - I'm buying an identical looking '63 Cat already set up for the 1/4-mile.

I see the car has made it to ebay after it sold at cowtown. The new owner is asking some strong money for it now. I like how he says it comes with a 4bbl intake and carb now. Go Ahead try to bolt that one up.

Irritating but that's the way it is. Too bad someone who really wanted a car like that didn't get it at the original price.

It is a really nice driver quality car. I had intended to convert it to a SD clone, primarily for the strip. Figured it was going to cost $9-$10K. Coincidentally a friend of mine was selling a nearly identical car (even the same Marimba Red, but an automatic) which is already doing high-10's / low 11's, so I sold this one to buy his car.
I hope someone gives this car a good home - it deserves it.

I don't honestly have a problem with someone buying it and selling it for more. That's America and I've done it to better my collection but he is really embellishing the ad. I went to look at this car when Jack owned it before he sold it and it is what Jack described but is not close to what the new seller advertised. You have to be honest.
