Default 1979 Grand Am Factory 4 speed

I have had this car in storage for years, too many ahead of it. Factory 4 speed Maroon interior with Maroon exterior. Runs and drives interior decent driver or better. Bottoms of the doors are gone, some rocker rust.
Needs a restoration, but is worth it in my opinion. I can give pictures to serious persons. The rear frame rails were welded up. GM of Canada documentation
Can was in Canada years ago, then was owned in Ohio, until I purchased the car 4 to 5 years ago. I have stored it inside since.
I have 2 rust free doors, and a clean frame, that goes with the package. asking $3200

That is a cool document you have Chis. I've always loved these cars, even owned a 79 4spd. A non-A/C car too. If it was an AT, I'd be interested, can't drive a mechanical linkage clutch anymore. Too painful. Still, I look forward to seeing photos.

GLWS, Dave

Curious why "steel hood" would be listed.
What condition is the frame and floors as far as rust?

Here are some pictures. Has a rough frame. I have a clean frame and rust free doors. Some rust in the passenger side rocker and lower A pillar by the hinges. Can't open the drivers side door. I think it is better than it looks, but not much interest in these cars, which is too bad. Any idea how many Grand Am 4 speeds? or how many made in Canada? thanks Chris

Chris,

Kent (iowapub) is probably the most knowledgeable person on these cars you will find. I have owned a few, but he has owned and restored quite a few. I agree, the interest group for these cars is very small, most people don't get them. I would love to see some more complete photos of the G/A (like full side views, interior, trunk) if you want to post them.

Dave

Reduced to $1000, for anyone here. Just the car as it sits complete. Not including the rust free doors which are extra and are available for an extra cost. PM me car has to go thanks. Chris
