I've never been to Norwalk, so a couple of basic questions: Is it difficult to get a decent place to stay in the area, and are you able to come and go with your car each day? I assume there aren't any assigned spaces, is it "first come, first served"? I wouldn't be racing, just bringing my car to hang out and be a spectator.

Spectators parking is outside of the gate for the pit's / Swap meet / Show car area. Lodging prices are jacked up for Race Weekends, I would just enter your car in Pontiac's on Parade, that will get you in side the track.

rooms near the track are not cheap. No problem parking any days if not racing. You can buy a 3 day pass.If you intend to see everything, pits, car show and swap rent a cart!If you want to go to the back of the pits and the back of the car show or swap pack a lunch if your walking! The place is giant.Tom

Pace yourself - it's worth it!

The unfortunate thing is it's hard to time - always depends on how well each of us does in the racing and how many rounds we go. I was out in the first round this past year but two years ago Carole went to the finals!

Always a great time and plenty of food and BS'ing on Saturday nights! Some even drink beer after the races.
That's an older pict Chris. RIP Minnie Winnie.

Yeah, D-nice pointed out that it was 2014 due to the snazzy camping lights on the awnings.

You guys are right... I didn't think the new RV had a stripe across the top in the back but I looked last night and it does.
We need some even fancier lights this year! Love to find the big old one's that had the C7/C9 bulbs in them that were all different colors and shaped like Owls, pineapples, whatever!

So I have never been and can't this year but looking at the event info,
If I enter my car to race 3 days its 70 and if it want my wife to come its another 35 for her to be with me in the pits for the three days?

Correct. Its the same price rather you pre-register or pay when you get there.
