Norwalk area hotels
What are good 'safe' hotels in the show area? Where do most people stay?

The drag strip and show is actually out in the country a bit as most drag strips are........Norwalk is probably a 3 mile drive, but there is not a lot of motels there and finding a room at this time may be a challenge. I've been going for several years now and I generally drive north (State Route 250) thru the town of Norwalk and stay around Milan, OH which is maybe 6/7 miles from the show site. All of the name motels are there as Ohio State Rt 250 and I-80 intersect at that point. Not cheap, but you should not have too much trouble finding a spot. I'd try to book now as attendees @ Cedar Point Amusement Park also compete for these rooms ( also this tends to pump up prices- IMHO) . Good Luck JWW |
