Default Alabama?

Who is from Alabama or has an Alabama connection?

I live in Pleasant Grove, about 15 minutes west of Birmingham.

I'm from Jacksonville (near Anniston and Talladega) and even though I'm in Georgia now, I'm nearby so I get back over there every month or so. Might go over this weekend to tailgate with my cousin at the Jax State Game.

I damn well better know about it if you do. My son marches with the Southerners (plays a 20J) and we see all the home games and some of the away.

Well how 'bout that. JSU has one of the best bands and music programs in the country I believe. I grew up just a few blocks from campus and have heard from my back yard, "Stars Fell on Alabama" hundreds of times throughout my youth. In fact, one of my Aunts is a member of the faculty there and my Mother has done some music classes there before she retired. It's really a fine school. Probably the best one I ever dropped out of...
pm me a number and if I get over there early enough, I might be able to catch up with you before the game.

Yeah, I know some folks frown on the air cleaner sticker, but I like it. Actually its a 428 hiding under there I'm currently getting a tri-power unit together to replace the 4-barrel.

Not a Judge expert but that looks like a pretty good deal to me if the claims match the facts.

No, never seen that one. The price would scare me.

we're in Madison
but with work and all we don't get out much
especially with the uncooperative weather this past year

did get the wife to race at Scottsboro this summer
and we are hoping to be able to make Decatur cruise in tomorrow

we did fultondale cruise in last september, that was nice
unfortunately not much of a car scene around here, just clicky type gangs

couldn't make M-boro this year due to work and of course mother nature (rain or high threats of rain)

I'm in Decatur, but unfortunately still putting final touches on my '67 'Bird ragtop (they keep cropping up). Was hoping to make one of the Third Friday get-togethers downtown, but it ain't gonna happen this year.

we went this past weekend
it was nice
man.... some people must have some insane amount of $$
some of the cars were amazing to see
luckily not as cold but we left by 8
not to bad of a turn out for an end of season

i have asked to make something like this weekly in the area, but met with just resistance
when you do these once a month deals, the weather is usually a breaker for most of them
Murfreesboro is way nicer too, just a long drive which can add up fuel costs now-a-days
