Default Tilt steering install

Hey everyone. Decided to put a tilt column in my 67 GTO. Never did this before and have not taken the old one out. Thought I would pick your brains and learn some tips. Any one have any good tips or instructions on how to switch them out? By the way, I have a OEM tilt going in it not an aftermarket. Thanks Doc

Using the service manual It's pretty straight forward. The only thing I would add is the manual states "if necessary" remove the wheel,
I would do that first.
I have even gone as far as removing the DS seat for ease of access.
Take note/pay attention to the 2 aluminum wedges in the under-dash mounting plate.

Jeff thanks for the reply. What are the wedges for? And is there a pdf online somewhere with these instructions on it?
