Default Back in the OHC club again!

Hi all,

Just pulled the trigger on a really nice 68 LeMans OHC. This will be my second one. It’s a really nice original car and I can’t wait to get it here and share some more details.

Thanks all! It looks to be a really nice, honest car. 1 repaint about 25 years ago. Interior is original and in really nice shape.

The engine runs like a top. I was a little worried about the automatic but she’s got a lot of zip and drives so nice.

This is definitely the most original car I’ve ever owned.

Nice to see that it hasn't been messed with. Especially under the hood.

Could you provide a picture of the trunk mat without the spare and the Fisher Body plate?

Still has the Fremont 'Three Color Bumper Jack' I see.

Interesting that the floor is mostly body color, they obviously didn’t bother to speckle the area hidden by the mat.

My 69 Fremont cars (three) all have speckle on the floor area but there is no sign of such a significant amount of body color under the speckle. The 69 mats are different too, they are that fibrous type dark green gray.

I'm thinking a previous owner may have sprayed over the speckle paint during the last 50 years. I know mine had some surface rust on the trunk floor.

Fremont mats seem to be also different with a cut out under the spare
