Nothing on this car is factory correct HAHA. I splatter painted the trunk because I like it better plus the cars gonna get driven

The car is beyond straight. I cannot wait to get it back and start assembling it. I hope I can have it totally finished within a year. My biggest stumbling block and I know this sounds stupid but I don’t know how to adapt the parking brake cables to the explorer disc brakes. I have a man that’s gonna charge my AC and I have the interior and glass squared away but other than that I will have done every bit of it

For the rear disc brakes they connect the same but I had to order custom cables for the back piece on each side I think 2" longer.

Car looks great

Your man does fantastic work. Paint looks like it changes color as you look at it in different light or a different angle of approach. We're envious..

Car has to “breath” in the booth for 3 more days then he will pull it out and wet sand and buff it. Trim items will be installed and then assembly of stuff like bumpers etc. he said he’s never done a 64 so it might take a few days. I am hoping to pick it up the first of October. If you are ANYWHERE near Tampa (I am 8 hours away) and can get your car there. Send it to KMA Customs. You can see his work and it’s only 50 an hour.

This is the latest progress. If the rest of his staff would quit getting Covid or just outright quitting I could have it by now. Way it looks now I’m not even gonna speculate when he will be done but it shouldn’t be much longer

Anyone have experience with ceramic coating? I am worried about keeping it up.

Ceramic coating what part? I bought a set of ceramic coated Long Branch manifolds from RARE and it rusted through in less than a year - so if it's headers or manifolds more research is prudent.
