Worse yet, they took pictures of it from just about every possible angle.....in one degree increments or thereabouts.

On another note, did they just slap on a chome diff cover, big wheels, and think to call it a "pro touring"? I don't see any significant suspension upgrades.

Oh wait I get it, 4 wheel disc makes it pro touring :yeahright:

Aside from the typical Formula hood 3 hole destruction, I agree its Not good
Funny I bought a 1970 Firebird 6 cylinder, 3 on the floor, a bunch of years ago, had a grafted 6 inch glass "cowl" on it with a nasty big ugly hole. There was a big construction dumpster next door to his place, the seller was shocked we took that shiny hood off right there and tossed it in the dumpster, after he got his money... I just could NOT bring it home...

I am continually shocked at just how few people understand that external customizations 98% of the time, do not add one cent's worth of value.

There's this tiny used dealer in the town I work at, besides his astronomical asking prices, it seems like every vintage car for sale is customized... and he appears to not be selling the vintage stuff - coincidence, I think not.

Most drag guys seem to like those things, leftover from the days where you needed a tunnel ram to go fast. They were cool in the 60's I guess, like gassers and such. They look out of place on any kind of sleek-bodied car.

It's really a shame to see some folks still want to do this kinda stuff to cars. It can't be for the money, as I'm sure it hurts the value more than helps. As mentioned above, he must be very proud of it by the amount of photos he took. You have my vote for the Ugliest (Fugliest) hood ever. But I'm sure there's someone out there now trying his hardest to top it.

wow, stinkers are coming outta the wood work.

well someone thought it looked good, because unlike the last one, someone really spent money on this one.

I don't care what gen;
A Chebby in a old Firebird like this, is a heart transplant - for a baboons heart.
(Why don't guys who want to do drivetrain swaps like this do it to a Camaro!!?!!?!)

Yeah, I saw that one too. The hood looks like an afterthought once they realized a truck LS motor won't fit under any decent FB hoods.
Nice tight headliner though.
