Default all season tire

Our G8 GT with the sport package is needing new tires. Any recommendations for an all season performance tire to replace the "summer only" OEM tires? Thanks

I run General Altimax RT's on my Lemans - affordable, sticky and very good in the rain.

I've never tested them in the snow (since I've never seen it) but I have always loved my Nitto 555's. Cheap and grippy. I've had them on my G8 and my T/a

Default Snow

I live in Iowa and drive the G8 GT year around. Currently, I have Blizzak winter tires for the winter, snowy months and the "summer only" OEM sport tires on it during the summer. The summer tires are needing replaced and I am tired of changing tires and rims every 6 months so a good set of performance year around tires is what I am looking for. Thanks for the suggestions, they will all be checked out.

I am doing the same with our 09 GT, We also run Blizzak's for the winter, I just ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Sport a/s 3's to replace the summer only tires.

As this is my wifes daily driver she is also concerned about noise, as well as grip and in Michigan we can get snow from Late Oct to Late April so I was looking for a tire that could handle a couple of inches of the stuff.

Default Continentals

I am looking closely at Continential's Extreme Contact DWS (dry, wet, snow). They are branded as ultra high performance all-season tires. They get a Y speed rating and around 50,000 miles of wear. Tire Rack sells them for $208 each. The Continentals are rated a little better in snow than the Michelens, but I will look into them, also. Thanks

Well I got the Michelens mounted on Saturday, and we drove 250 mile round trip to pick up the 97 Firebird from storage, great handling tires, and Quiet, I guess we will find out how they do in a couple of inches of snow Tuesday!
And I was Surprised to see they were made in the USA.

Default Cooper tires

Decided to buy cooper rsa4 all season tires. They cost $197 each mounted and balanced. Very quiet and smooth ride.
