Default Fuel Senders

Is there anyone selling a proper 0-30 ohm, two line ( 1/4 and 3/8) fuel sender for a 68 A body?

Host only seems to carry 0-90 ohm with reversed fuel connections.

Well if you get a precision 42 ohm 1% 2 watt resistor and wire it in parallel with the sender then you will have a 28.63 ohm sender.

Then it’s on to the fuel connection issues!

I do believe that 68 should have a 0-90 ohm sending unit.

Thinking mid 60's wagons were the last to use 0-30 ohm sending units.

Agree, I believe my 64 GTO was the last year or next to last year to use the 30 ohm
fuel sender. All of the later GTOs should be the 90 ohm sender.

Funny you should ask. I just rebuilt/cleaned my sending unit. And yes it is 0-90 ohms.
Mine came out a very clean tank but was reading infinity. I opened the resistor unit and soaked it in carb cleaner for awhile. I then ran a piece of 200 grit across the windings and polished the movable contact. I also tighten up the terminals. Reassembled and it works like brand new.

Unfortunately mine is long gone.

I'll look into the O'rielly's.

Default Fuel gauge sender

If I remember correctly 64 was the last year the 0-30 ohm sender was used.
