Default Who's making all the noise?

I couldn't find the video on this story. Maybe some one else can.

I'd make sure to make more noise at the next meeting

She did just a short piece on it last night. Basically someone named Karen thinks they should not be allowed to gather. Too much noise was mentioned.

Ahh I found the article.

I like how they feel the need to point out one of the complainants is a blonde white woman. In fact the whole thing is littered with subtle racism directed at only a certain group.

Imagine if the media referred to all black women as "Sheneequa"...

Reminds me of Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove. It’s been there for decades, and was on the outskirts of Union Grove, surrounded by farmland. Now the McMansions are getting closer, and the new people complain about the noise. No crap, you moved close to a Dragstrip! Go back to Chicago.

Happened here last year, Or maybe over the last 20 years. People built close to race track as city grew, complained about noise so bylaw came in, no noise after 11. Now place has been sold and guess what. Race track is closing with no other track anywhere close. Now people will complain about street racing. LMAO.

Probably because she wouldn't give her name, and so she is described.

Did you see that the article describes the car guys as "primarily black and Latino?"

https://cbsaustin.com/newsletter-dai...-new-residents

Basically a luxury apartment was built by the park that has had low rider with Mexican American involvement and gatherings on Sunday for decades. The new residents have issues with the gatherings. It sounds like a clash of cultures, the old and the new.

Another thing I leaned a long time ago- If you are moving into an area that you are unfamiliar with, it’s up to you to do your homework on the area. See what it’s like on weekends, during rush hour, ect. Don’t complain if cars are buzzing by your house non stop during rush hour for example, if you didn’t do your research.

This ^^.
Unfortunately we now live in the age of entitlement. It's 'me, me, me' and you had better change yourself to suit 'me'.
How the heck did this happen?

Exactly. A lack of due diligence isn't anyone else's fault. Shaking your fist at a regular event that predated your arrival just ain't bright. They weren't paying attention, so now they'll just have to live with it. If it were up to me, I'd arrange a properly permitted outdoor vendor with noise cancelling headphones. Whenever a Karen shrieks, everyone simply shrugs and points towards it.

They had a pork plant here for the longest time in an underdeveloped part of Toronto. They eventually did build a residential community up to it and of course the complants started. They could hear the pigs being slaughtered from their million dollar townhomes.
Well, this wasn't some "black and latino" auto enthusiasts they were dealing with. It was a national conglomerate that wasn't about to be bullied into moving by some people that "came along and decided that they should move". The pork company stuck it to them all, continuing their operations unfettered for years before they were given a buyout number that they couldn't refuse.
These guys should start a go fund me page for any legal costs that they incur and also should have other local clubs show up in a show of support, if they want it.
