Default Body panel, bumper HELP PLEASE with pics

We need help, son and I are about to go nuts. We have done a total restore on this 67 firebird, drive train all done, body work about done, putting fenders back on, hood back on, etc. we cant get bumper lined up. front frame was removed but realign with x checking and pin holes . All panels are original. doors were not removed. Take a look at pics, door to fender looks good, fender to hood looks good, but hood to bumper is half inch off. Been working on this car for 5 years need to get er done. any suggestions appreciated.

I'm not a Firebird expert and the photos make it a little difficult to view things, but to me your hood-to-fender shut lines look like they might be too tight, particularly as you get closer to the cowl.

Was that the bumper on the car before you started? I'm no expert either but looks like the bumper was pushed in at the center.

It is the orignal bumper. We just noticed today that the bumper bent outwards on the driver side. see pic 1 on the second set of pics. the painter came by and noticed it. We still have the centering with hood problem. thanks

Yeah, that's the pic that made me think that it may have had the center pushed in. Sometimes that makes the outer ends go forward away from the fenders.

Is there anyone that has a 67 front bumper that they can measure side to side from the back side, maybe easier to get length?

Here are pictures of a 68 bumper fitment. I didn't take measurements, but you can get an idea of the gaps I wanted. I don't have any good close up shots.
