It's used for the speedo cable on a Camaro, but is plugged on a Firebird.

The hole at angle with your ??? On it is speedo cable. The big round hole has a bolted plate over it on an automatic car, on a stick, it gets a boot with the clutch rod going through it.

Here's a page from the 1971 AIM. There is no part number listed on this page but it is listed somewhere as
4410574 - PLUG, cable dash hole (1'' hole) Here's some on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-1-Body-P...YAAOSwwS1a~MPH |
