I’d love to, but I don’t see any way it’s going to be going that early. I’ll be lucky if it runs at all next summer.

On a different note, FYI, I weighed the radiator support and bumper brackets and steel bumper supports on a bathroom scale, I have no idea how accurate it is, but it’s real close when I weighed myself first. The bumper supports showed 25#. The bumper brackets showed 10#. The radiator support showed 38#. I am going to weigh the steering gear box next, I weighed a rack at work and it was 10#. I would think the gear box has to be probably 20-25 lbs. we shall see...

Rebuilding damage from broken rod. New set of Molnar rods on the way. And going to take another 100 lbs off the car.

Mike, I meet this summer at Norwalk. Talked a little Politics. I asked about the headers for sale in your sons trailer and you said they came off your car built for All Pontiac heads. I’m looking for someone to build me headers for my 64 with HP’s. Any chance your son my be interested? You build some nice stuff.

Thanks,
Larry

i verified the front bumper plates and brackets for 71-72 steel bumper lemans today on our shipping scale at work. 36lbs, so the house scale was only 1 lb light.

Freshen motor, try to find a few hp but no major changes this winter. Lighten the intake a little, it weighs 42.4 pounds. Replace broken pump gear in trans and freshen. Swap out center sections. Mod trans brake and starter wires for weather pack connections. Clean car. Install new carpet on pass and drivers floors. Mount new rear tires. Have paint on nose of car touched up. Got beaten up a little this year. Get coach and trailer repaired after the accident I had in august replace coach tires. Re-organize trailer. Replace all consumables in trailer. I think that's about it. Easy offseason this year.

Should make for an interesting time balancing that.

That is some mighty fine looking "junk" you have there to say the least.

Thanks. Yea but have to start with less nitrous to dial it in. Also going to use Q16 fuel with Nitrous.

I thought every Pontiac nitrous motor uses less nitrous to go the same ET’s once they switch out the E-heads for something else. Maybe that’s a story for a later day.....much later
