Ballast Resistor...
Did Pontiac use a ballast resistor under the hood (ignition /points related)....in 59?
It appears I have 2... |

Yes, they did. Following from 1960 Master Parts Catalog.

Thanks...for posting...
On my engine...there are 2...one beside coil....and one near the battery cable junction...on drivers inner fender..... Engine does start and run...on the key.....but under hood wiring.....has A LOT of "fixes"...including alternator conversion... Just trying to sort it out...before I drive it... |
