glovebox cover
I was quite dismayed recently to notice that my glovebox cover has become scuffed;
I removed it last year(?) to pull the lock, to get the key code - and thought I was taking sufficient care of it. I am presuming that there is no way to minimize the appearance of scuffs/scratches on the front face - am I wrong? Has anyone had any luck swapping the plastic cover from one to another - this is the 100% correct 1970-only glovebox door, and I do have a spare that is now in better shape... Any opinions/advice would be appreciated.

I did exactly what you described during my restoration. It was not difficult. You have my contact info, so if you wish call me and we can discuss.
