Frantic Four and the Quick 16 could be real interesting this year!!

you think the q 16 willhave 8 dragsters and door cars qualified at less than 9.00?

I think the Door side could have a 8.30 or quicker 8 car field, now how thats translate on the non-door side ......who knows. A lot of slower cars could get in....all depends on who shows up.

The bumps in 2014 and 2016 was 8s even the car alternates that filled in the dragster side ran 8s

Yea.....cars don't show....cars break BUT you never know. One year I qualified at 8.15 and was 7th on the door side!

gonna try and get my daughter qualified this year. she has gone 8.85 so far on a semi easy pass.

she will be fine, there were 930 cars in the dragster side last year. I may throw my hat in the ring as well. She will out qualify me that is for certain.

Just saw a pic of Butlers new power plant for Norwalk for their Firebird.......NO e-heads (they look billet), guess they finally want to step up!

It's Ben Wilkinson's all Billet motor with Visner heads and intake. Same motor Rodney ran the end of last year in NHRA.

Definitely looking to "step up" ......so far he's over a tenth faster than his $1800 E-heads..... They also switched to a billet block at the same time.

Wow in 2014 i think it was 8.7, i got in as an alt with a .6 and 1 car behind me got in, in 2016 i was last i think with .7
