Default Distributor woes

I had recently put an PRO COMP electronic ignition distributor in my 73 ventura 455 and had make a little more room against the firewall because when I hit it hard it would hit and knock the cap off. Even then I dont have enough room to adjust it because the vaccum advance hits the edelbrock intake runner and so ends my adjustment. I tried moving the wires back one and its too retarded then. Anyone else have this problem? Any inexpensive solution rather than buying a 300 dollar smaller distributor

Reposition your distributor so the advance is where you need it to be.

I had similar problem fitting an HEI in my '73. The housing on the distributor was so large it barely cleared the runner on the Edelbrock P4B manifold. Got to where I could turn the distributor enough to set timing, but when the cap was installed one of the lugs on the cap would not clear the intake runner. I ended up cutting that lug off the distributor cap using a small abrasive wheel. This allowed enough clearance and rotation of the distributor housing to set timing. The cap holds tight with just 3 lugs.

Default tire fitment

I bought a set of centerline tricks used that have a size 29x11.50x15 MTs on the rear, The rie is 15 inch x 11 inch. I cant get them under ther rear obviously and want to replace them with something nice and wide that wont rub. I do have air shocks so I can get a little lift for clearance.
