One of the coolest tracks around. Went there for the NHRR a few years back. Great place for a nostalgia race!

Headed there in March and attended the LS Fest in 2010 and as stated the track is great!! Should be plenty of room for a POCI Race hopefully will be able to make this!

BTW this track is noted for its hook! They always do a good job of prep there.

Great venue and things there the whole family can enjoy. Plenty of shade and the grandstands are covered.

(Not far from Nashville either, Fri or Sat nites downtown is an experience)

Absolutely...open to all vehicles as long as the vehicle is powered by a "traditional" Pontiac engine.

For me I would like to do the test and tune deal. Will there be someone available to explain to a "never done this" person what and how to do this properly?
I would like to drive my 421 4bl 66 Bonneville convertible just for fun.
What do I need?
Thank for you patience in advance You will probably need some.

patrick

Patrick, you will be hooked once you make a pass down the track. We will be happy to walk you thru the process. Just look up any one of the race committee and we'll fix you up. Make certain you have seat belts and a helmet and you will have no problems.

it looks easy but I am sure there is a little more to it.
The staging part looks the hardest. Is there a time limit to get the second light to turn on? What if you go to far, can you back up and try again.
If you know murphy he would show up and mess everything up while I would try.
Try I will. Hey maybe you could bring an easy button from staples. lol

Thanks Dave

patrick

My first time i rolled through the pre-stage lights and kept inching foward to get them to light, finally the track guy got my attention and had me back up. embarassing, but it only happened once. i think there are more first timers there than you think because now i see that happen alot. no biggie - RB

As I have said for years, going back to our Pontiac Drag Days program in the early 90s..."Pontiacs were born to run! This is your chance to legally plant your foot on the floorboard and go!!!"
