Default 70-72 dash pad

Has anyone bought or seen the full 70-72 dash pads that PY sales? How is the quality?
I appreciate any responses.

Mark

There is a difference between the 70, 71 dashs & the 72 dash is different. I hope you know there is a difference so you don't put the wrong dash in your car.

The 72 has a Pontiac logo on the passengers side above the glove box

Are we referring to a firebird dash? I don't believe they are currently in production but I could be wrong.

Mark;

I bought a black pad for a 70 GTO around 2010....it was very nice, and without the long wait (at the time).

Clean, prepped and finished metal core, vinyl was straight, not mushy or lumpy and the leading edge bends were very clean..... I was very pleased.

If a judged car: the grain on mine at the time was stated to not be 100% correct but close enough for my application.

Iirc...they are a different mfg process over the originals, and the well known aftermarket resto company.

Couple of threads over the years including this one with the PY kick off announcement and a few pictures;
