I watch private & public ads for 60-70 cars in Canada regularly & keep an eye open.
When I was a kid my late brother had his Vette stolen from our garage, after it was already stored for the winter! I've been paranoid since & rent an alarmed garage nearby for my toy. At least my address won't lead them to my classic car.

We also own a '69 ragtop and can smell a Goat a mile away! I'll be sure to spead the word. Had my FIRST Harley ripped in '75. Still have the title and check the hotsheet now and then. Never lose hope. Sounds like the "Poncho Posse" could make this one difficult piece to move. Good luck and keep the faith!
