No he did not pay for the transam. I have the title he has the transam in illinois.

I fear that by now your 81 is here, there and everywhere. If the guy had all these money problems and no title, there are two alternatives that I can think of:

1) Parted out
2) Replated

I hope I am wrong. Despite the negativity toward the 301, these were great cars!

Dave, if you are still unemployed, get some balls and drive up to this guys place if you guys found him. You can make the trip in less than 24 hrs if you want to. You'll have money out in gas and time. Sleep at the rest stop. Stop at Walmart and get a bat and a ski mask, and pay cash for it. Wait for this guy and break his freakin' knees, THEN ask where the car is. You gotta take charge with this. Lowlifes are trying to take advantage of us all, in some way everyday and we have to stand up for ourselves. Geez, within a 2 weeks of not getting any answers I would have been on the road. Hell I would of already had the car back so long it would have needed an oil change.
