After my new car trailer was stolen from a "secure" storage facility I did some research and asked some questions. Luckily we have 4 storage facilities as customers with some very helpful people that work there. Some shady stuff with some of those employees. Glad you got it back. Hopefully they'll find those involved.

Wow! Congrats on getting it back.

As for what's the storage place's responsibility - none. It's written in the lease that you are expected to carry insurance. It's just like if you rented an apartment, and your TV got stolen - landlord won't buy you another.

If you can prove their employees stole it, however - that's another story.
