Default rare 1966 Sprint TI ignition

Im told there was only 200 of these made.Very RARE.
This was one of the first "electronic ignition" systems
Complete with NOS control unit.
Note the blocking out of Delco part #s
Im told some had a red cap which really makes it stand out.
$700

Thumbs up

Cool Piece.

IIRC the Red Cap & Coil came in on later models.
I know the '67 CD ignitions used them.

Luckily you can still find TI Coils online.

It was always my understanding the red was just so the service tech noticed the type of ignition but don't hold me to that.

Years ago I found a factory inner fender well skirt with the provision (Box) where the Control unit was tucked,
it was/is the same location regardless of the engine so I sold it to a GTO guy.

Default

I had thought of using it on my 67 with factory AC But Pertronix prevailed
Jeff as you know its a PITA working around the compressor mount.
That would look good on your car.

If I still had the Skirt with Box I may have considered it.
