Default 1968 Tempest Custom Wagon

1968 Pontiac Tempest Custom Wagon
This is a "survivor" car w/only 84,000 miles. It's still wearing approx 80% of it's original Vedoro Green paint with the perfect amount of patina to it. The paint has it's share of dings & chips in it but it looks good for being 50 years old now.
NOM 326 2 bbl from a 1965 4 speed Lemans, TH350 auto, & power steering. Rally clock & am radio (both non working), power back window works fine from both the front dash switch & the key operated switch in the tailgate. Original black interior in very good condition, perfect uncut dash & dash pad, the carpet is showing some wear in the front.
Has 14"x7" Rally One's w/Coker Redline radials with less than 1K on them. Rear sway bar has been added.
Runs & drives great, I drive this car everywhere & always get a big thumbs up! One of only 8,253 produced in '68, compare that to the 87,000+ GTO's made in '68!
This is the perfect to compliment the GTO/Firebird in your collection. Clean NC title, car is located in Apex, NC. $14,800.00 & I do have some extra parts that go with the car.

Nice long roof. Took my drivers test in a 66 Malibu wagon in late 69. Have a few other memories in that wagon !!!

Very cool car.

What engine did it have originally?

I like the rear view of the 68 wagon more than the rear view of the 68 GTO.

It had a 350 w/2 speed auto originally but both were gone when I bought it.

I will sell it for $13k w/the Torque Thrust/BFG tires instead of the Redline/Rally Ones.

....or I have a set of excellent condition vintage Keystone Kustomags (no tires) that are more era correct for that day 2 look, your choice.
