Valve Cover Bolt Head Markings & Finish
After doing some research, it would seem that valve cover bolts used from '64-'68 were black (phosphate, zinc or cadmium?) where as '69+ were silver zinc or cadmium.
Going through my fastener stash from various projects & parts cars over the years, I've come up with a few variations. Would be curious to see pix of original restored or survivor assembly line bolts.
