Default Valley pan

Hi I have been looking for a 1973 455 valley pan . They only reproduce 1968-1972 . What is the difference ? Can the 1972 be used or modified to fit 1973 ?

The dip in the middle of the valley pan is a lot bigger for the newer intakes. The heat cross over area is bulky compared to earlier non egr intakes.

They don't fidindit

Pictures, it’s not rust some old sealer someone used and some stuck on cork gasket. The one thing I did see is the dent on top but I don’t think you will see it with intake over it.
