Default Cleaning rubber mats. Recommendations

I’ve purchased an original grey rubber trunk mat and it’s in good shape but dirty and grimy. What would be best way to clean and restore it without ruining it. Thanks for any help!

I'd start with regular old mild soap and water and a soft scrub brush. If you have some car wash soap use that, if not maybe some dish soap.

You can use most anything on rubber. I usually use a diluted Purple Power with a tire brush. If after it dries you still have stains, lightly try some enamel reducer. (not lacquer thinner). Then use the tire dressing of your choice to bring the black back.

Bleach White tire cleaner has always done me good.
