Trick to installing rear arm rests?
Hi all,
OK, so I just spent about an hour attempting to install rear arm rests. The arm rests appear too short. Can get one screw in but not the other. I assume the front screw needs to go in first, but still it seems the rear screw is about 1/2 inch too far to the front of the car. Any words of wisdom? Thanks !

I pulled the rear interior panel just to be sure. It appears these arm rests are about 1/4 inch too narrow. Maybe they are for an earlier year? I don't know.
The holes on the arm rests are 9 3/16 center to center. The part # is 7748806 The holes in the car are 9 1/2 center to center, so they are 1/4 inch wider. Maybe the plastic arm rests shrink over time? Installing two rear arm rests should take 15 minutes. I'm probably 3-4 hours into this.
