Default 65 in LED's

My 65 Canadian Pontiac dash in LED. Looks cool in blue, but not really sure if I like it. Won't dim with the switch rheostat.
Heater control bulb to be replaced.

I find the blue (even though the LEDs are clear) dimmer and harder to read, but pulling the dash on a '65 A body is such a pain I'm keeping it that way.
