I have a 69 bonneville and was wanting to know, is the 69 gto 8-track player the same, or was there a difference between them that pontiac used.If so can someone send a pic of one for a 69 bonn.

69-70 8 tracks were the same. the only difference is the mounting bracket and the plastic shroud that covers it. give me a day or so and i will see what i can do about digging up some pictures and emailing them to you directly.

thanks 1970cat for the help. The only things missing out of the car is the radio and 8-track everything is still original on the car.

sent out a few pictures. let me know if they came out alright. i have more pictures of the tape players and the radios also if that is of any help to you. keep in mind also that there are different wiring harnesses for each of the different radios. am , am/fm , and am/fm stereo. i have a '70 that i have done a lot of research on which is nearly identical to the '69. , so let me know if you need anything.

Thanks agaian 1970cat pictures came through great that helps alot. Now try to find an 8-track and am/fm radio and the car will be back to original except restoring the thing which I hope to start next spring after the 67 gto is done this year.

I have a 69 Bonneville Broughm, 2 door with all the options, It is complete and if you need more pictures I can help you out. Mine too is in need of some repair as the engine is out of it right now. Mine is a numbers matching car and if it was on the order sheet it is on this car except Disc Brakes? Why? I don't know other then that was a new item back then and there might have been a lack of trust with the man that ordered the car.
