A friend of mine is on the final stages of putting a '67 2+2 convertible back together.
On the rear quarter just below where the 2+2 emblem goes, there are 2 stamped holes for another emblem. The holes are horizontal and about 1-2" apart.

Does anyone have any idea what emblem might go there?? 428? Catalina?

I saw a pair of VENTURA tags that match that size and shape, but that is just a guess.

Andre;

I have a factory picture of a 428 2+2 Conv. in front of me and there is nothing but the 2+2 emblem on the rear fender. There is another 2+2 emblem below the right rear tail light assy. also.

Andre,
Attached (hopefully) you will find two pictures from a limited edition factory brochure given to me 35 years ago by a Pontiac executive. It does not show any emblems below the 2+2 emblems on the rear quarters. Hope this helps...
