Does anyone know where I can find a correct filter for the fuel pickup on a '67 FS. This is the pickup that has a can on the bottom, not the one with the long tube and float.
Many thanks, -harry 1967 Grand Prix Convertible Project

We had our sending unit rebuilt and they removed the filter and tossed it...said it is not needed...its been two years and no problems...so toss it.

Just went through this with the same kind of sender on my '67 Bonneville. Get rid of the sender mesh and add an inline filter before the fuel pump.
