Default What's the best interior stain protection?

Bought a new car yesterday that has tan seats. Wasn't my first choice in color but the exterior color won me over and it wasn't so bad once I saw the car in person. What is the best Stain guard, scotch guard, whatever treatment out there right now to treat the seats with before they get destroyed?

Rob,
Are they leather?
I've used Meguier's leather products to clean and try to keep the tan leather on the Excursion looking good. The best thing is to keep the kids out of it!

Once I loaned the truck to a group for a week. When I got it back there was white house paint on the leather!! Just google "remove paint from leather" some time, the only thing was "tough luck, get used to the look".
I gently scrubbed with a soft bristle brush and Meguiers leather cleaner and got it ALL off. I don't loan my truck anymore.

there's my thoughts

Get'n to/from them

Here at work they use the spray pump bottle stuff from another supplier.
One for leather, another for fabric.
Works good.
I'm sure it's bottled by another company.
Our rep is on vacation till Monday. Can ask who makes it then.

Keep kids out of car. Especially 16 year old mascara-laden daughters who spill makeup and frappucinos.

My wife has an 05 Toyota Highlander she bought new, when she bought it the dealership used Scotchguard. They guarantee it not to stain for the life of the vehicle or they will replace. She spilled a coke in it a few months ago and it wiped right up.Seems to work well.

Default seat covers

Get the clear ones that were popular in the late 60' to early seventies. These were the clear ones that adhered to any flesh. They had the little bubble wrap, triangular texture.

Does anyone remember these?

Take care,
Greg
