The ability to make the mandrel bends will dictate whether we can use the larger Ultra Flow muffler. We'll see.

Chris:

Thanks for the response. Can't wait to see the final product. I hope I'm near the top of the list when it's ready.

Mike got really sick right in the middle of finishing the Fairlane and stayed home today.
It's always something.

Make sure you send over some chicken noodle soup so that he gets better real soon. I'm expecting to hear from him shortly.

this setup looks a lot like the American thunder setup. I know Summit sells it.

What's the difference??

Much better flow, much better sound, and a more OEM appearance!

Rob,
It will have a lot better airflow through it, it has much less resonation and crackling sound out of it, and it will use the various F-body tips and it should also bolt right up to the Pypes X or X-change or non-crossover system.

Ok, I'm sold. I'll take one for a 67 Firebird Convertible please.

Word has it that maybe later this week, it will get put on the car for fit tests and sound evaluations. Should have more reports back from Chris/Mike Z soon.

Again, I'd like to thank Chris and Mike and especially Bob Chumley for taking his car apart and continuing to leave it apart while patiently waiting for this system to be sent back or duplicated.

Tom:

When you test fits, are you referring to parts that were made by PYPES that duplicate your design? I assumed that they had already had your stuff on a car.

Larry: Keep your wallet in check. You won't need it until the second system is ready. LOL

Whoa guys! I've already spent over $400.00 on this project. The first set better be headed for Blue Springs, MO Besides, with all of the time and engineering that Tom has invested he should get the fun of installing the first production pypes.

Good point Bob!

Thanks for donating your car for this most important project. I truly appreciate it. I will step aside and let you and Tom have the first two sets but if Larry tries to cut in we'll have issues. I know where Texas is. It's not that big. I'll find him!
