Default #69 1971 heads (manifolds)

Hi, need some help for a friend, he has #69 D-port heads and is looking for repo
exhaust manifolds but i need know what they should like as they seem to be hard to find.
He has no old ones for ref and should have 6 bolt holes on them. Any help finding repo ones would be great, hopefully on PY but dont know what im looking for code wise..Thanks

You can buy ram air manifolds aftermarket or headers or used manifolds here on Py as long as they are made for your car a firebird I assume.

Depending on which car your buying for ,,,1st. gen bird or 2nd. gen bird you can use the long branch manifolds or the std. Ram Air manifolds. All of the aftermarket houses sell them, like PY, Ames, Year One Ram Air restorations. Just to name a few. Which car & years are you needing them for.?????

You can use the RA IV manifolds for that body & it makes for a great install. Go for th bigger 2 1/2 inch ones just for the size , they are great , I use those on my 73 GTO.

Nevermind I see what you meant.. first he asks for 1971 #69 heads instead of #96 so I am like huh? #69 ... then I think Rex thought #96 like 68-1/2 RA96 round port heads.. hence referring to 69-70 GTO RAIV manifolds would work on a RAII in a 72 but he really was talking about D prt heads since he said 1971 heads and correct to #96 so how about some 68-72 GTO D prt HO/RA manifolds since they fit 70-81 F body ... OK we are all happy now..

I think I may be a kittle confused with all the changing of the numbers of the heads as I have round port E-heads on my 73 GTO right now, & there may have been a little confusion on my part. My 73 GTO has the round port E-heads & thats why I say I would use the RA IV manifolds as I use them on my car. Sorry for the confusion.
