That is an interesting approach. Looks like it should get the job done. But as you have it all on the passenger side with the extended length shaft on the center carb makes it a bit different than a setup with the factory progressive linkage on the drivers side. Will need a bit of rethinking to see what can be done with the mostly factory linkage. |

I'm sure the same scheme could be used no matter which side the linkage is on. And a small solenoid to lift the arm might be a "neater" solution.

Anybody else on this planet campaign a M/T hemi Pontiac for eleven seasons? ... or has built a record breaking DOHC hemi four cylinder Pontiac? ... or has driven a couple laps of Nuerburgring with Tri-Power Pontiac power?(back in 1967) |

Sorry, I spoke before thinking. Twisting of center carb throttle shaft is only a concern with Tri-Power link on the passenger side (as mine is). With a driver's side link you could use greater than a 1:2 ratio without a problem.
