The second ad is exactly the same but he conventionally left out the matching numbers line. Goes to show how he's watching his back.
He also took out the "Rare - Rare - Rare Car" header at the top of the car's features.

Most 45 year old cars have some bondo, even if its factory. Rusty floor boards can be a full replacement, or patches which are even worse.

Can't speak for old cars, but when I was a Quality Engineer working in the body shop & paint shop of an assembly plant back in the late 2000s, we used NO filler on the bodies. Nothing.

It was the steel, the e-coat, powdered primer, base coat, clear coat. That's it.

So the new owner just got the PHS invoice.
I just saw it.

It IS an automatic car.
Looks like the window sticker was faked.

The car is NOT a 4-spd car. Jim Mattison confirmed.

The seller is faking:
- transmission (not a stick car but an automatic car)
- G92 perf axle ratio (not listed on invoice)
- vinyl top (not listed on sticker other than on bottom)
- floor mats (on sticker but not on invoice)
- door edge guards (on sticker but not on invoice)
- custom seat belts (on sticker but not on invoice)
- final price on invoice doesn't match sticker, of course

I think it's worth it to publish the VIN of this car in case someone else runs into it.
It's 276570P125662.

Feel bad for the buyer. Told him to contact the attorney general in his state AND the one in the seller's state.
Pure fraud if you ask me by trying to pass a car off as something it's not.

Wow, who would've thought when I originally posted the auction it would turn out like this - twice!
Thanks for posting the VIN - Caveat Emptor!!!

This is why I avoid car dealers like the plague. I'm sure there are some good ones out there, but I've never met one.

I worked in dealerships for 33 years & your correct there all POS when it comes to cars. I can't tell you how many times I had arguments about stuff like this over the years. I was a service mgr. for the last 18 years & saw a bunch when I was on the line , But I have to say in my shop if a guy got caught doing ANYTHING dirty I fired them on the spot. No warning no chance.
