Default Any Pictures Of Your 68 or 69 GTO Turbo Downpipe At Firewall?

I'm curious how you all are running the single turbo down pipe at the fire wall since there is very little room in this area?

Any pictures would be helpful and how you're running the DP into the dual exhaust would be helpful too.

Thanks

I have the engine out of the car as is.. I think I have all the exhaust after turbo still mounted up along with the turbo... I'll try to take a picture and post up for you.

With headers facing forward and the engine in stock location there is easily enough room for my single 4"....... I'm thinking a 5" should also be doable

These are tubing OD's btw....

3.5 inch down pipe, could fit 4 inch it's tight but the wrap helps the heat. I have a mid plate I clear also. I'll get more photos later for you

I personally think I would add a few full weld passes on those Turbo Mount Brackets vs the "spot welds" holding that heavy turbo to the frame. BUT it is a NICE mount arrangement.
Kind of like 70 birds mount.

It is fully MIG welded and has stayed there since 2007 with no issues..

Sorry about that.

I expanded the photo, I was looking at the piece with two holes it it, I blew the picture up and see it is not part of the Turbo Mount.
