found out Joes used a Quickfuel 1050 for the single 4 pulls. The 2 750s made 35 HP over the 1050.Tom

So was that a 1050 -4150 type carb or a dominator style?

Still hard to beat a dual quad look for me esp a bathtub-but then I'm an old 409 dual quad guy!

Why have the good heads and roller cam then?Nice to see all the horsepower it has but why not drive it hard once in a well?Seems like a waste of parts might as well have a stocker in the car.

Your "throw away" engines are nicer than most peoples "hard earned money" engines!

How cheap is cheap? How much money do you have in just assembly/machine work/dyno time on this throwaway engine?

What is, or was, the 4 bbl manifold? I can't make out the markings from the pic.

Just curious, Stewart

Thanx Tom. You can see the design similarities in the later 68-72 manifolds.

Tom, is that the intake (NASCAR) that uses the really long back bolt?

Great numbers, will make a really nice driver motor if/when needed.
