Question turn signal issue ( I think )

Have a 68 FB and all lights work (well almost work) what is going on is when driving and want to make a right turn I put on right turn signal and when the brake is applied the left brake lite does light and turn signal works, but when making a left turn the left brake light does not lite but turn signal works . Would this be my turn signal assy. Thanks in adv.-----BOB

Next question: Does the right brake light work when the turn signals are not being used?

I agree with Troy. Years ago I made this generic drawing of how a turn signal switch works. Wire colors are from an old GMC truck, but otherwise it should apply.
