Default 1968 Firebird Printed Circuit Bulb

Posted a couple of questions in the instrument/electrical forum if anyone has time to read and possibly reply. My question here is where can I find this particular part? It came out of my printed circuit and is not like any of the other bulb holders. Thanks

I think that’s for the light pipe to center dash.

I don't see it from our host here but a search for "6288601 socket" shows them at several vendors.
To see them on a parts diagram check out the '67-'68 Firebird Inst panel electrical parts (upper right of diagram) at http://www.thefirstgensite.com/libra...ior/dash1.html

Thats for the fiber optic cable (light pipe) to either the ashtray and / or ignition switch on various models. If you can get by without a light to your ashtray just put a regular socket in its place.
