Default 70-L67/4spd (wow!)

I'm not knocking the car, this is afterall a beautiful example of the 'big dog' of 1970 Firebirds.
My question is;
Is a RAIV/4spd really a quarter of a million dollar car?

I think thats reflecting a reduced price because its not White with Bright Blue Deluxe Interior. Usually they'll start them out at around 285-300 with a real light weight bobber float attached above the hook.

Those are King Fish cars right behind RamIV Judge Convertibles

I’m pretty sure that Blue cars historically bring more than white. I’d say this one is somewhat of a holy grail type car.

Always thought a 73' T/A 455 SD 4spd would be/should be the King. I guess there is a replacement for displacement...Lucerne blue?

Interesting. My '68 400(0.30 over, ported RA II heads, 12.0 compression, with long branch manifolds through 2 1/2" exhaust w/goerlich xlerators) with the melling copy of the 041 cam is quite a bit quieter on start up. But then I don't drive it enough so it may be wishful thinking on my part(I prefer a quieter idle.)

with only 88 examples built, there's no doubt that at any given time there's very few if any to pick from.
I have understood that often blue cars do fetch a premium...

I was just surprised at the asking/starting price...

I actually thought the cam sounded tame, even at a cold start for a 041, but I'll assume others here know better than me.

I appreciate hearing thoughts on the car.

It seems to be a really nice car, there's no doubt of that.

A similar example in white brought well over $300k at auction last year
Can anyone clue me in about that car?
I don't recall hearing about that one just now.

Looks like the tip is level with the bottom of the chrome bezel, when it should be level with the bottom of the lower lens.

The RAIV are king of the 2nd gens imo.

It's a beautiful car! I wish it had bright blue interior, but you cant be too picky when it comes to these cars.
