73-77 lemans body parts
New to the sight. I'm just starting to put together a 73 lemans. So ill be hitting the swap meets soon. Does anyone know where to find out which doors/fenders, hoods etc... from 73-77 are compatible with each other? thx in advance.

As for hoods they are 73-75 & 76-77, doors should be all years 73-77, I think Fenders are like hoods, 73-75 & 76-77. But I am not sure on fenders they may be 73 only due to the bumper difference in 73. I never owned a 73 so not sure, I have owed a 74, 76, & 77.
Good luck with the search! And Welcome!

I thought the 73 was a one year only for fenders and quarters. Something about an extra lip or something around the wheel opening. Am I wrong?

You are correct the rear 1/4's of 73's are unique except for wagons that actually kept the lip on the rear wheel well thru 77, But the front fender kept the lip 73-75 for some reason, forgot about that. good catch.

Solid 2 door '73 LeMans 1/4's have been tough find here in OK/TX for a long time.
Jon Wacholtz was down here a dozen years ago boneyarding w GTO PAUL & I. Jon was darn lucky to find a 1/4 panel piece to use in his '73 GTO's Concours restoration.

Jeff the quarters on the wagons changed in '74 as well my '77 doesn't have the flare and my '75 Grand Am 4dr. uses the same wheel opening molding!!! Front fenders are the same up to '77 other than the marker light was deleted in '76/'77.

TX Barn Finds and Classics channel
The TX Barn Finds and Classics channel might? be another way of finding an out of the way, still rural yard somewhere in Texas. Friend of mine, in the Sherman area knows the Guy that runs the channel. Seems they are finding hordes of forgotten cars and parts even today.

I hate that my memory is not what it used to be. I remembered that the wagon rear 1/4's where basically the same for all years with the exception of the marker light shape & location. But I mixed up the fact that it was that no year of the wagons rear 1/4's had the lip. Thanks for correcting me and actually making me look at my 73!
