Question How to remove Passenger A/C Duct

A/C 75 car. I have it all apart so I figure its a good time tor replace the core and blower..

I have the inner passenger fender and motor out or my car. A/C housing is off and has been cleaned and recleared.

I have the lower duct under the dash out. Everything inside is disconnected and the heater box is loose.
But the Passenger duct is stopping the heater box from coming out. The A/C core has the long tubes.
I cant see how that duct pops out unless I remove the duct piece under the gauges.. At that point the dash may as well come out.. ARGH.
I can try to bend the duct up over the heater box as I pull it rearward.. But that really means I have to distort it a LOT..
Any advice here?
Thank you for any help.
